Hi, I’m Margaret!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Master Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (Master CASAC) with a decade of experience. I graduated from Adelphi University with a Master of Social Work degree and started my career in an outpatient substance use program running groups and providing individual and family therapy to those working to achieve and maintain sobriety. During the Pandemic, I transitioned into inpatient psychiatric care to support individuals in mental health crises and began my private therapy practice to help clients manage trauma and uncertainty, guiding them to discover hope and resilience in their lives.

My approach is strengths-based and eclectic, utilizing Mindfulness-Informed Care, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care. I offer compassionate, mindful support to help you in navigating challenges, including significant life transitions, anxiety, depression, and substance use. Together, we can work towards developing skills to build a fulfilling life.

When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.
